Falcons Star Asisat Oshoala Sign Join English Champions Liverpool Ladies..

Liverpool Ladies were delighted this morning to announce the signing of recently crowned African Women's Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala. The FA Women's Super League champions secured the signature of the highly rated 20-year-old Nigerian international from Nigerian Women's Championship title winners, Rivers Angels.

Asisat is an explosive forward who was voted the most valuable player at the U20 World Cup in Canada in 2014, where she was the top goalscorer as the Falconets finished runners up to Germany. Asisat inspired Rivers Angels to their first league title victory since 2010 when they beat Pelican Stars to the title as well as helping her side to clinch the Nigerian Women's Cup.

Matt Beard's Liverpool are currently preparing for forthcoming WSL and Champions League campaigns, having retained their league title on the final day in 2014. Speaking of her move to Merseyside, Asisat said, "Since I began my football career I have always dreamt of beinga professional footballer, so to be able to join the reigning Women's Super League champions is absolutely fantastic."

Liverpool Ladies are a massive club, who have some fantastic players who I believe can help to develop my game to the next level. It was also a big incentive to be able to play in the UEFA Women's Champions League, which is a huge competition and one I'm confident we can do well in."

Ladies boss, Beard, said, "I'm absolutely thrilled to have signed Asisat as she is one of the world's top young footballers. Asisat proved in the U20 World Cup what a top-class talent she is and this signing is a big coup for us."The Women's Super League continues to improve year after year, so it is vital that we strengthen our squad following last season's successful title defence. This signing is definitely one that the supporters can be extremely excited about."

OFFICIAL: Radamel Falcao completes loan move to Manchester United in transfer worth up to £20 million for 1 season..

Colombian to earn club record £265,000 a week after Louis van Gaal approves move as City and Arsenal drop out Manchester United will pay £20 million for the services of Radamel Falcao for just one year after Manchester City and Arsenal rejected the opportunity to pursue a deal for the AS Monaco forward.

Falcao landed in Manchester on Monday night ahead of a medical at United’s Aon Training Centre after the club’s executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, negotiated a season-long loan with a view to a £35  million permanent move for the Colombia international.

With City and Arsenal both told by Monaco and Falcao’s representatives that a deal for the 28-year- old would involve a £10 million loan fee, plus the player’s £18 million annual salary – £346,000-a-week – efforts to take the former Atlético Madrid player to the Emirates or Etihad failed to progress over the weekend. And with Real Madrid also pulling out of the race to sign Falcao, United accelerated their interest in the
striker on Saturday evening after agreeing to pay a reduced £6 million loan fee and the player’s wages, with sizeable a reduction on the tax-free salary paid by Monaco.

Although senior figures at United last night insisted they would not be paying Falcao’s Monaco salary in full, it is understood that he will exceed club captain Wayne Rooney as Old Trafford’s top earner with a wage in the region of £265,000 a week.

With United also concluding the £13.8 million signing of the Ajax midfielder Daley Blind on Monday, the capture of Falcao took the club’s summer outlay on transfer fees to £152.3 million on six players, including the £59.7  million British record signing of Ángel di María from Real Madrid. In an effort to trim Louis van Gaal’s squad on the final
day of the transfer window, following the earlier departures of 10 of last season’s first-team squad playing staff, the Mexican forward Javier Hernández completed a season-long loan move to Real Madrid. Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign England international Danny Welbeck..

SPORT: Manchester United have agreed a €81 million deal with Real Madrid for winger Angel Di Maria

The Argentina international will have a medical on Tuesday and then thrash out personal terms before signing for the Red devils by Paul Clennam Manchester United have agreed a €81 million deal with real Madrid for winger Angel Di Maria.

Goal reported on Saturday that the Premier League side had made a breakthrough in their attempts to sign the 26-year-old to Old Trafford, with the player having decided that he wanted to move to Old Trafford. With talks between the two sides having accelerated in the last 24 hours, Di Maria has now arrived in Manchester and is expected to agree personal terms and complete a medical on Tuesday. Goal understands that Louis van Gaal's side will offer Di Maria a wage packet that will eclipse Wayne Rooney's €360,000-per-week deal, including the Argentine's €6m signing-on fee and additional bonuses. United will pay Madrid a British record fee in the region of €81m, including add-ons, for the former Benfica star, surpassing the €63m that Chelsea shelled out to Liverpool to take Fernando Torres to Stamford Bridge in 2011.Goal revealed back in July that an agreement between the Premier League club and Real Madrid was close and Ancelotti confirmed on Sunday that Di Maria had said his goodbyes ahead of a move to Manchester.

Di Maria will add to the signings of Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw and Argentina international defender Marcos Rojo, who joined from Sporting Lisbon earlier in August. As revealed by Goal, the deal for Di Maria, including bonuses, salary package and various other add-ons and bonuses, could surpass the €188m mark. The 26-year-old, who fell down the pecking order at Madrid following the summer arrivals of Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez, could go straight into the United squad for the Premier League meeting with Burnley on Saturday.

Xabi Alonso heading to Manchester United

Another day means one thing, another star is reportedly heading to Manchester United. This time Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is the man linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Alonso, 32, has played in the Premier League before, for United’s bitter rivals Liverpool. The Spanish international left Liverpool in 2009 and won the UEFA Champions League with Real last season, while also having the 2010 World Cup and both the 2008 and 2012 European Championship titles with Spain under his belt.

Tidy on the ball and possessing a biting tackle, Alonso compliments Real’s superstars superbly as he wins the ball and distributes it to Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and co. with minimum fuss. Could he soon be doing the same for Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie? Having Alonso sit in midfield alongside fellow Spaniards Juan Mata and Ander Herrera would be a joy to behold. He would bring the right amount of grit and determination but could also knock the ball around with Herrera and Mata in the middle to create a hub of ingenuity in Louis van Gaal’s new- look team. Earlier on in the summer van Gaal was said to be in for AC Milan midfielder Nigel de Jong but interest in the player he coached for the Dutch national team has since dwindled.

According to the Daily Express, Alonso is available to move as Real Madrid try to trim their ridiculously large squad which is at least two deep in every position. At Real he has to compete with Toni Kroos , Sami Khedira , Asier Illarramendi and Luka Modric just to get in the team. With United chasing Arturo Vidal and Kevin Strootman this summer, Alonso could be a great buy in the meantime. Vidal’s protracted move from Juventus seems to be fizzling out, while Dutch international Strootman is out inured until at least December. Plus, if United move in for Alonso it will actually scupper Arsenal and Chelsea’s plans to buy Khedira from Real. However with news arriving on Thursday that Khedira has rejected a new deal at Real Madrid, perhaps Alonso will remain in Madrid.

A few stumbling blocks could line this deal, one being Alonso’s refusal to play for United having formally been a fans favorite after starring for Liverpool in a five-year spell where he won the Champions League and numerous other trophies. However if the Spaniard fancies a return to the North West of England, a move to United would seal that. But why shouldn’t Alonso remain at Real and fight for his spot??....Share your opinion in the comment box below.

Chelsea Offer Fernando Torres To Roma In Swap Deal For Mattia Destro

Fernando Torres could finally be making his way towards the exit at Chelsea after the club offered him up to Serie A giants Roma in a swap deal involving Mattia Destro according to the Daily Mail.
Jose Mourinho has made it clear that Torres doesn’t have a future at Stamford Bridge but he has twice rejected moves away, with Wolfsburg and Inter Milan both previously in talks. However, reports are now suggesting that he could now be on his way to the Italian capital, which would see Destro head in the opposite direction... Destro has also been linked with a move to Spurs after being hailed as one of the most exciting attackers in Europe, though the Blues are keen to beat their Premier League rivals to his signature as they look to boost their attacking options before the transfer window shuts.
He is valued at about £20million but including Torres in the deal could bring the price right down, even though his stock has fallen in recent years. Roma’s sporting director Walter Sabatini has been in London this week to hold talks with Blues officials....#Team Chelsea
