The first case of Ebola virus has been recorded in Scotland. According to the Scottish government, the Ebola patient is a health worker who arrived Scotland from Sierra Leone today December 29th where she was helping to care for Ebola victims.
She arrived Glasgow in Scotland from London Heatthrow airport on a British Airways flight. All passengers on-board the flight are now being traced for examination. Meanwhile the woman has been quarantined at the Gartnavel hospital.
Former president Olusegun Obasanjo in his new controversial autobiography My watch, said he knew nothing about his late wife, former First lady Stella Obasanjo planning to undergo a tummy tuck to mark her 60th birthday anniversary,a cosmetic surgery that later killed her.
He indicated on page 240 in Volume two of his book, That it was after she had died on October 23rd 2005 in Spain that he found out what really killed her.

"After the internment, I decided to look into the circumstances of her death. I found that part of her 60th birthday anniversary, which was unknown to me, was her operation for her tummy and her shape.”
Furthermore he said he was able to get justice for his wife through the help of the Nigerian Embassy in Spain, who according to him, died due to the cosmetic surgeon's carelessness.
"I instructed that the doctor and the clinic be prosecuted. The lost life cannot be brought back but the successful prosecution would prevent carelessness and loss of life in the future".
"The doctor was made to pay damages which was collected by Olu, Stella's only child and the doctor's license withdrawn" he continued.
He also addressed insinuations that he used his wife as a sacrifice for his success in office."Before the verdict in Spain, I was unaware of what I came to hear later that I might have caused the death of my wife to sacrifice her for success in my job. That is how wicked and satanic some Nigerians can be in their rumors and mischief.” The Former President said.

As a result, last minutes rushes to get work done, including ‘all-nighters’, are not uncommon, with some students regularly being penalized and lose marks for missing deadlines. According to the research though, being organized when it comes to your course work can be a key ingredient for success.
4. Try and strike a perfect balance; Your house-mates are going out to the town and they ask if you fancy joining them. Why not? No harm done. Well indeed, the secret isn’t staying in but simply getting the right balance between studying and socializing. The simple fact is that students who achieved a first class grade or a 2:1 spent more hours a week studying than they did partying in their final year – those with a first spent four hours more and those with a 2:1 spent 2 hours more.In contrast, those with a 2:2, third or those that failed all spent more time socializing than they did studying.
5. Dig out your trainers and get moving; Everyone knows that exercise is good for you but did you know it can help you achieve better grades? Well the research suggests it does. A fifth of students who got a first and 21% of those with a 2:1 said they exercise regularly to help fight off tiredness compared to just 12% of those with a 2:2, 9% of those with a third and7% of those that failed. “So if your gym kit is gathering dust in the cupboard, go and grab it right now! I hope this news don't spring up another strike but the Lagos State Government has faulted claims it was owing medical doctors in its employ, saying it has always paid the salaries of all its employees, doctors inclusive, when due.
According to ynaija Some doctors working in the State Government’s hospitals staged a demonstration last week alleging that the government owed them an unspecified amount of money covering their salaries for July and August this year.
However, the commissioner for information in Lagos, Lateef Ibirogba, the chairman, Health Service Commission, Dr. M.O. Salako and Chairman, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Dr. O. Williams, in a joint statement said the state government said it has promptly resumed payment of salaries of the Doctors since they resumed work.
The trio said the complaint by the doctors refers to July and August 2014 during which period the affected doctors went on strike adding that their salaries were not paid in accordance with the Government’s policy of “No Work, No Pay”. They also said that the period of the doctors’ strike unfortunately coincided with the outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease in Lagos State pointing out that all entreaties to the striking doctors to see reasons and call off the strike were ignored.
They reiterated that the state government’s policy of “No Work, No Pay” was still in force, pointed out that the policy was informed by the fact that it was unjustifiable for any worker to be paid for work not done maintaining that any group of its employeesthat embarked on strike in contravention of the laid-down procedures governing such actions would be so treated for the period of strike.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes confirmed it yesterday that winger Victor Moses has gone back to his parent club Chelsea FC to undergo treatment on a thigh problem, which will force the Nigerian international out until the new year. Moses was substituted after 56 minutes of the Potters’ 2-1 defeat to newly promoted Burnley last weekend after picking up the injury during the game and is expected to be out for between six to eight weeks.
The 23-year-old midfielder is currently three months into a season-long loan spell at the Britannia Stadium but has returned to Chelsea in order to have treatment on the injury. Hughes said ahead of the Premier League trip to Stoke City: “Victor Moses has gone back to Chelsea now for his rehab following his thigh injury.” The news was also confirmed by Stoke City’s official Twitter feed.

Don't Know which party this is more painful to.. The Kids who just realized that the man they thought his thier Dad turns out not to be or to Afrobeat king, Femi Kuti who recently found out that two out of the 5 children he always thought were his, weren't.
In an interview with Encomium mag, Femi said a DNA test conducted on a boy and a girl named Tosin and Dupe who were born after his first son, Made, showed he's not their biological father.
"I did a DNA test and was told two of the children are not mine. The first two (after Made), a boy and a girl. It is very serious. I never knew somebody could give you what is not yours.
I’ve three boys now, I can’t father children I was tricked to believe I am their father,” he said Femi says he has since returned the children to their mothers.
Just 2 years after losing their mum, the Okoye boys are mourning the death of their dad who died yesterday November 24th. According to LIB the late Mr. Okoye recently had a successful knee surgery and was about going for physiotherapy when he just fell. Ruth Idahosa a 300 level student of Bells University of Technology in Ota, Ogun state died around 2am this morning after suffering an Asthma attack late last night which led to her hitting her head.
According to her friends, Ruth had the attack while eating, causing her to choke and lose balance, leading to her falling and hitting her head on the ground. She bled.
The students around her said they called the university ambulance but there was no answer. They were left with no choice than to use a hairdresser's vehicle to lift the unconscious girl to the clinic."As usual, the incompetent nurses and staff of the clinic started to delay. Then the worst came - she passed on." her friend said... May her soul rest in peace..amen.

MTV’s Road Rules Challenge Star Diem Brown has lost her long battle with cancer, Us Weekly Reports as died yesterday Friday Nov. 2014 at about 10:22 a.m in New York City.. Diem Brown became an advocate and inspiration for others facing similar battles, founding MedGift, a support registry for those suffering from any illness.“I want people to know that the fight is worth it,” she told PEOPLE in October. “And that’s something that’s so important for me.”
On Tuesday, as her condition worsened, Brown reached out to fans on Instagram and Twitter, writing: “I NEED prayers and advice. My doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t roll over. Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing.” She was scheduled to undergo another round of chemotherapy next Tuesday in the hopes of shrinking the tumors.
This was Brown’s third cancer diagnosis after being previously diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2006 and 2012. As she told Us weekly, this time the cancer spread to her colon and stomach lining; but she remained in high spirits, saying, “I’ll beat cancer again. I’m a warrior.”She is survived by her father, brother and two. sisters... From Team Napstaworld we say may her Soul Rest in peace.. Amen!!!
