Jackie Chan is Just Another Victim Of Death Hoax As Rep Confirm He His Alive!!

News of actor Jackie Chan’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the June 2015 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the actor best known for his roles in Shanghai Noon, Rush Hour or Police Story is alive and well.

Rumors of the actor’s alleged demise gained traction on Friday after a ‘R.I.P. Jackie Chan’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable account of the actor’s passing:

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Friday (June 12, 2015), our beloved actor Jackie Chan passed away. Jackie Chan was born on April 7, 1954 in Hong Kong. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”

Hundreds of fans immediately started writing their messages of condolence on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness that the talented 61-year-old actor was dead and as usual, Twittersphere was frenzied over the death hoax.

Where as some trusting fans believed the post, others were immediately skeptical of the report, perhaps learning their lesson from the huge amount of fake death reports emerging about celebrities over recent months.

Some pointed out that the news had not been carried on any major network, indicating that it was a fake report, as the death of an actor of Jackie Chan's stature would be major news across networks.

A recent poll conducted for the Celebrity Post shows that a large majority (74%) of respondents think those Chan death rumors are not funny anymore.

On Saturday (June 13) the actor's reps officially confirmed that Jackie Chan is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.

Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans of the much loved actor. Others say this shows his extreme popularity across the globe.

Breaking News: APC Can No Longer Fulfill Its Promise To Nigeria

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that they cannot fulfill their campaign promises in Nigeria as the Pro-PDP Senators have hijacked the National Assembly seats. This was made known today by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Lai Mohammed, in an interview on Channels TV Breakfast show.

Lai Mohammed lamented that it would be difficult for the Executives to carry out their developmental plans and policies, which Nigerians have given them the mandate through the General Elections, under the current Pro-PDP senate caucus.

According to him, “APC can’t fulfill it campaign promises anymore because it didn't get the Senate President and Speaker that it wanted. "What we have in the Senate now is the Pro-PDP senates which are not in the interest of our party. How do you expect us to sit with Ekweremadu and Mark to discuss matter of National importance” Lai Mohammed.

The APC, on Tuesday, lost it proffered candidates for the seat of the Senate and House of Representative to some faction of the APC in alliance with the PDP Senators-elect while attending to the meeting at the International Conference Centre in Abuja where they were supposed to have a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The meeting end abruptly on hearing the news of the election at the National Assemble where Senator Bukola Seraki and Honourable Yakubu Dogara as the Senate President and Speaker respectively .

[BREAKING NEWS] Bomblast In Jimeta Main Market Yola...

A bomb explosion occurred in front of the Jimeta main market in Yola Adamawa state at about 7:45pm today June 4th.

Eyewitnesses say the residents of the area had just finished observing their evening prayers at a nearby praying ground when the bomb detonated.

It is believed the explosion was carried out by a male suicide bomber. Unconfirmed reports say as much as ten persons have been certified dead from the blast. Some survivors pictured above.

According to Borno state government's news platform, KSM News, two al jazeera journalists who were detained by the nigerian military were this morning allowed to leave the hotel where they have been detained and have been moved to the state government lodge on the advice of Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima.

The two journalists, Ahmed Idris and Ali Mustafa were detained in their hotel in Maiduguri, by the Nigeria military over allegations of loitering on march 24th 2015..

“If the office of the first lady is constitutionally recognized, he will not tamper with it but if it is not, that's okay. For me I will perform my duties and role as the wife of the President of Nigeria traditionally,” she added.

Pastor Kumiyi To Remove Some Traditions He Setup At Deeper Life..

The deeper life head pastor "Pastor Kumuyi" while preaching in today's Sunday Worship Service on the topic 'The Word in A Transformed Believer' reportedly chastised some sections of the church. He expressed his concerns in the message on how some church leaders have bastardized the church's doctrines of which was meant to make some corrections and lead people aright.
